Information on natural pumice stone

Pumice stones are air-permeable volcanic stones that have long been used in body care to gently remove calluses from feet and elbows. This natural rock forms at temperatures between 500 and 600°C – when lava cools quickly on the surface, the pressure drop leads to characteristic blistering, which gives the stone its porous structure.

Application of the lava stone

First, soften your skin while showering or in a warm foot bath. Then carefully rub calluses and hardened areas of the foot with the pumice stone. After each use, thoroughly clean the stone with plenty of lukewarm water to prevent pore clogging and extend its lifespan.

Composition and origin

The lava pumice stone is a naturally occurring volcanic rock and therefore 100% natural in origin. Pumice stones come in various colors – from white, gray, and black to brown and light red. Each stone is a unique piece of nature.
