How the Female Condom Works

The female condom consists of a thin, flexible nitrile rubber sheath with two soft plastic rings. The inner ring at the closed end allows for easy insertion and ensures a secure fit in the posterior fornix. The outer ring remains outside the vagina and covers the labia to prevent slipping. Due to the combination of natural vaginal secretions and the lubricant, the female condom adheres to the vaginal wall like a second skin.
